Worst Hotel Makes Worst YouTube Channel.

HB-TitelThe Hans Brinker Budget Hotel, Amsterdam, is used to spending literally dozens of euros to advertise its not-very-good accommodation.

In these difficult times, however, the Brinker has been forced to cut budgets and turn to the people for assistance.

At youtube.com/hansbrinker, fans and enemies of the hotel can promote Brinker themselves. And they’ll be rewarded generously.

Creative spirits just have to upload a short, homemade clip featuring the words “Hans Brinker.” The connection between product and film can be, um, loose. For instance, early submissions include a man doing press-ups to the beat of a screaming seagull, vomit art, and a famous piece of graffiti being defaced by the addition of the Hans Brinker name.

Who knows what dizzying artistic heights could be uploaded next? Something with cats playing guitars, perhaps?

As a special incentive, would-be Michael Bays are offered the chance to win an incredible cash prize of ten euros. Once a film reaches 1,000 views, the lucky director will be presented his winnings in a special award ceremony (or possibly a slightly crumpled envelope sent second-class).

This dizzying multimedia extravaganza is introduced in an exclusive movie featuring the Brinker’s most charismatic cleaning lady.

So far, filmmakers contributing to the site do not include David O’Russell, Clint Eastwood or David Fincher.
